The best method you have found to stop leash pulling?

I always remember when my grandma used to walk her dog when we either stayed at her house or visited. He was always one for pulling, but she managed to find a way to calm him down, to the point where the only time he would pull on the leash would be when he saw the park, as that was his favourite.

I always remember when he fell ill, he allowed me to take him for a walk, which is something she wouldn't do due to him being quite fierce when he pulled the leash.

What is the best method you have found to stop leash pulling?

We've had our pupper for 8 years at this point and she still pulls. Only one we've ever had with this issue. Every other dog has walked to heel and been happy doing so, but Skye? Nope, I'm going 100 miles an hour and you're coming along for the ride!
